Seven teenagers go to a log cabin during the summer holidays. One of the teenagers is a horror movie connoisseur and foresees a lot of misery upon arrival. The others think he just watches too many horror movies and is not believable. However, there is "something" outside, and gradually the many horror clichés actually come true...

Nice film in which a few teenagers drive to a house in the woods during their school holidays. The story doesn't really matter. Entertaining because of the self-aware nature of the film. The clumsy monster betrays the low budget, but it just fits the film (as do the mediocre acting and the naked ladies). Clearly made with great pleasure.

Nice B horror with nice humor, good gore here and there and a low-budget alien with tentacles and laser-shooting eyes! 
Definitely one from the genre that you should not miss as an enthusiast! The ending scene was nice and dry too!

Phenomenal start, but unfortunately it is not possible to maintain this level throughout the film. The well-known story about 7 friends who go to a remote cabin in the woods to spend their holiday during their spring break. One of these friends is a horror movie fanatic and he sees all the trouble coming. Sometimes funny, sometimes just a bit too bland. But not bad for a 20-year-old debutant. And the idea was happily used for Scream. Director is still doing horror, but apart from his debut there isn't really anything there that seems worthwhile to me.
