The Great Waltz plot

"Your beating heart, your pounding pulse will tell you it's the most exciting musical love story ever told!"

The film is about the life of the Austrian waltz king Johann Strauss. His wife Poldi has to watch helplessly as her husband has an affair with opera singer Donner. Strauss and his wife are invited by Emperor Franz Josef, but before that happens, their problems must first be solved.
