This Italian/English spoken film cannot be placed directly under a genre. In the beginning, the film is thriller-like, but the film then turns into more drama/romance.

I found the film especially strong in the beginning, but after an hour the film slackened and then ended strong again with a striking ending. Don't expect a flashy movie, but rather a slightly slower one, especially after an hour. Fortunately, the film only lasted an hour and a half, so it was all in all not too bad.

The cast was also not the least: an Italian / English speaking Cate Blanchett, who also shaves all her blond locks during the film.

Not a masterpiece, but for the price I bought it (6 DVDs for €10) the film was not that bad. Good, but not wow by the second part.

This movie really collapses. Boy what a pity that is!! The start is really super strong. Too bad the movie didn't stay there. A strong story of a failed assassination attempt and revenge on someone who is covered by corruption and the police. It's all very ingeniously put together and is built up very nicely including a very refined escape. Also very clever how the emotional is zoomed in, in addition to this strong script. And then the revenge on the person that really mattered. If the movie had stayed here and stayed at this level, it would have gotten at least 4 stars for me.
But no, then the film falls into a bland love story and an escape road movie and then it also has a very unbelievable end.
sorry sorry sorry ........

Excellent film in which a teacher commits a bomb attack that goes wrong. Despite (or perhaps partly because of) the slow pace of the film, the whole is quite exciting. Stylishly shot with beautiful camera work. Cate Blanchett plays a strong role here (especially in the scene where she is told that the bombing failed).
