Shelby plot
The dog Shelby ends up with wizard Jake and his family on Christmas Eve. Jake and Shelby soon become inseparable, and Shelby becomes Jake's magical assistant. The only thing that can drive the two apart is the danger that others will find Shelby. Jake goes out of his way to hide Shelby from the people around him, and above all from the dog catcher. Will Jake be able to keep Shelby hidden?
