Nice start, boring enemy.
The DB series is not fun, but this movie is entertaining because you see how it all started.

Really coincidental, set up a few days before Akira Toriyama's death. That sudden news puts a nostalgic treat like 'Doragon Bôru: Shenron no Densetsu' (1986) in a slightly different context. My heroes of yesteryear are slowly being overtaken by time and transience. The man was younger than my own parents. In itself, 'Doragon Bôru: Shenron no Densetsu' (1986) is really a product from the period before Dragon Ball Z. More comical. More fantasy than SF. Less focused on iconic muscle bundles who level up and discover their new powers. Goku is just a cheeky young man with an at sign.
