When Hoppity the grasshopper returns to his village of Bugville, located on a piece of wasteland near the big city, something is terribly wrong. Not only has the evil C. Bagley the Beetle surreptitiously taken Hoppity's girlfriend from him, but even worse, the humans are planning to build a skyscraper on their property! Their only hope is the nice human couple Dick and Mary. Can they raise enough money to buy the land and provide the residents of Bugville with a safe place to live? Or does C. Bagley throw a spanner in the works here too....
