At the end of World War II, American soldier Steve Boland falls in love with the German girl Ilsa. The two decide to run off, but are stopped in the nick of time by Ilsa's brother, who reveals that he is a Werewolf, a sniper assigned to kill senior American officers. Boland wants to go to the army command with that information, but is arrested for desertion and thrown in prison.
