Tickle Me is a film that raised enough money for the studio to save it from bankruptcy, but the film itself is not very good. The creepy third part of the film can be called fairly original for an Elvis film, but as so often happens, it doesn't work at all. The humor is completely at a low level. What remains are the songs in front of a cardboard decor. Fortunately, they are good. Partly because people could choose from The King's wide ouvre instead of coming up with standard songs for films and vice versa. Average.

Again a lot of wonderful nonsense. This time Elvis is a kind of cowboy who even ventures into the rodeo. Nice coincidence that he works on a ranch where a lot of young ladies stay so that the eye is also pleased. Furthermore, a nicely written story with, in my opinion, nice humor that fits in with the spirit of the times. In the last half hour it takes on Scooby Doo allure - avant la lettre - with strange situations in the gothic house and the search for the treasure. The only downside is the lack of original songs. For budgetary reasons they opted - hello Dries Van Kuijk - to select some songs from previous albums. They are good songs though.
