This... is surely the weakest in the series so far.
The new film material is poorly put together, extremely poorly acted and adds little to the long-running film series.
The compiled material from the previous films is an entertaining anthology of the series, but nevertheless adds nothing to the saga.
In short: a film that can best be skipped, because it has nothing to add.
A film that makes me wonder why they made it.

What a dramatic excuse for a film, this eighth part of the Puppet Master series. Before the start of the series I had high hopes for a few nice films, but unfortunately the dolls do not get what they deserve. Full Moon should scrape together a decent budget for a film that does justice to the puppets of Toulon, or else I hope there will be a remake of Puppet Master one day.

Shameless production by pulp director Charles Band, who literally copies all the highlights and sensational moments from previous parts. The scenes shot by himself barely add anything to the content and look particularly ugly. Films that consist of almost 80% flashbacks and stolen scenes remain baffling end results, as they leave a particularly lackluster and unmotivated impression. Perhaps enthusiasts can do something with it, but I doubt even that. Annoying and tiring part of the series, with only the short playing time as a positive windfall.
