Dance of the Wind plot

Pallavi is a successful singer of classical Hindustani songs. Her mother Karuna already was and despite her advanced age she is still Pallavi's teacher. Just before her mother dies, an old man appears in front of the house with a little girl who sings enchantingly. Due to the trauma of losing her mother and teacher, Pallavi loses her voice. She realizes that as a singer she imitated her mother and therefore did not develop herself. Her search for the little girl with the enchanting voice finally leads her to the old man. Was he her mother's teacher? Did he teach the little girl to sing? Then the old man still has a lot to teach her, Pallavi suspects.
