Ghost of the Needle plot

Jacob is a photographer with his own photo studio located in an old factory. He lures women into his studio to kill and then portray them. No one knows his dark secret - not even his stern father who keeps the boilers running at the factory. When Jacob unexpectedly meets Aimee - his latest victim - he tries to poison her, but in the ensuing fight, Jacob falls down the stairs and becomes unconscious. When he regains consciousness, nothing is the same: Aimee is gone, Jacob's father knows his secret and a detective is on his trail...
