The Chase plot
"Getting there is twice the fun."
Sentenced to life in prison for a bank robbery he didn't commit, Jack Hammond manages to escape prison in an unguarded moment. Everything is going well until he notices two cops at a gas station who happen to be nearby. Panic takes hold of Jack. He takes the beautiful Natalie hostage and flees with her in her super-fast red sports car. The entire police force, with a television crew in one of the cars, immediately gives chase. A news helicopter also circles above the red BMW. During the wild ride and in all the chaos, Jack and Natalie get to know each other better. It turns out that she is the daughter of a wealthy industrialist, who will spare nothing or anyone to get her back in one piece.

Quite a nice film (they also broadcast on TV almost every year) with nice roles by Charlie Sheen and Kristy Swanson. But the best part (a supporting role) was for Henry Rollins 
Story is simple but looks away nicely.

Nice film in which a man on the run takes an attractive woman hostage. The title certainly covers it here, as the film is almost literally one long chase. Nevertheless, it doesn't get long-winded because of the smooth tempo, short playing time and nice soundtrack. Excellent pulp that simply looks away easily.
