Suspense without Hitchcock.
Cinematically, this thriller starring Powers, who is held captive by an old woman, is neatly put together. Because director Narizzano is no Hitchcock but still wants to evoke that atmosphere, he frequently tilts the camera. It proves to be of little use.
Despite its solid quality, entertaining premise, and good acting performances, the film never really manages to take off. A farcical element remains attached to the suspense—something that almost only the true 'master of suspense' could get away with, due to the genius that the director of this film lacks.

It certainly isn't due to the cast's good acting or the fun premise, but ultimately, this is just a mediocre horror film. The ominous atmosphere is certainly present, but the tension is somewhat lacking. Especially towards the end, the director takes a very simplistic approach that does not benefit the film. A bit of a shame, considering the good performances by Tallulah Bankhead and Stefanie Powers. 5/10
