"They're the man."
California, 1975. Starsky and Hutch, two wayward sleuths, are ordered by Captain Dobey to set out on a journey together. The discovery of a body on Bay City beach leads them on the trail of a massive drug trade. Huggy Bear, Hutch's tipster, tells us that the influential businessman Feldman is in charge of the organization.

Well to do. Nice cameos and some funny moments here and there. Yet it is nowhere special in its all 13 in a dozen genre in which they operate.

I skipped this movie for a long time, but it was not that bad for me.
Stiller and Owen's combo is always infectious. The 70's atmosphere is nicely colorful.
I didn't follow the series either because it was a bit before my time, but that's why I could just watch this blank. Nice supporting roles from Snoop Dogg, the original Starsky & Hutch and Will Ferrell. That scene in the prison was downright ridiculous, yet dryly comical. I can't help it, thought it was funny.
