Nice movie with a fun snow chase.

Action was good and acting was decent.

Lots of action and stunts in this messy movie with a retarded story. Could be the Cannon version of a Bond movie. The skiing scene with Klaus Kinski in it is the best of the movie but is copied from the James Bond movie For Your Eyes Only... No, it's not boring but it's not fantastic at all.

Better to steal something well than to invent it yourself.

That seems to be the best summary of this film, which unashamedly borrows from James Bond for the ski scenes, from the Pink Panther at the great hero's home, perhaps even from Potemkin for the opening. Even Tangerine Dream shamelessly recycles most of the soundtrack from their previous work. Perhaps that is also the only thing the film adds in terms of content: it gives an idea of how Tangerine Dream developed their music.

Furthermore, it is mainly poverty-stricken, been there done that better. The Cannon version of a Bond film? Perhaps more like The Asylum.

The fourth film in my 'Tangerine Dream soundtrack' retrospective. What strikes me is that in this one, just like in Risky Business, a Porsche is totaled, and Alberta Watson plays in it, just like in The Keep. That is also the only thing that film has in common with this mediocre work.
