Lange sits in front of such a short film. It starts out a bit mysterious, but eventually it turns into vague and boring due to mediocre editing. It is difficult for a long time to follow the three stories of the three girls. The worst thing is the intrusive and monotonous soundtrack that constantly emanates menace for no reason. It's scary because the soundtrack lets us know for 90 minutes, which is counterproductive for me and makes it very boring. 1.5*

Very atmospheric horror film thanks to the very appropriate score by Elvis Perkins, which made the tension very palpable. Excellent acting from the ladies and also a great film visually and in terms of the story; Well, that's not easy and requires 100% attention from the viewer. I haven't quite figured it out yet and that's why I think I should revisit this film and that's something I don't mind at all. I don't need everything ready-made. That is apparently something that many viewers cannot appreciate given the far too low average.

Rating: provisional 3.5*

Revise quickly. Remains a pleasant, sinister horror film with a nice substantive approach. The acting in particular is exceptionally good, because director Oz Perkins asks a lot of his cast members. The winner is Lucy Boynton as far as I'm concerned, but Emma Roberts and Kiernan Shipka also stand out. In terms of atmosphere, the soundtrack in particular is a strong companion, succeeding in creating a certain sense of menace from fairly meaningless scenes. This proves that not every horror film needs to use explicit violence or high volume to get under your skin, Perkins does it in an alternative (but effective) way. These types of films can have a completely different outcome when reviewed, fortunately I remained captivated throughout the entire running time and remain enthusiastic for the upcoming Longlegs.
