Catwoman tells the story of docile employee Patience Philips (Halle Berry) who effaces herself for her hot-headed boss and ex-model Laurel Hedare. Patience works as a graphic designer for Hedare Beauty, a mega cosmetics company on the brink of releasing revolutionary anti-aging products. Usually, these kinds of films are slightly higher than the average. Catwoman didn't seem like the best film on paper, but Pitof delivered a very nice film with Vidocq and I can tolerate a bit of cheese in combination with the superhero genre.
But apparently it's just really that bad. From the truly embarrassing CG to Berry and Stone's horrible overacting, from the silly plot to the irritating romance. And to top it all off, the really sad fights... this movie really has nothing to offer at all.
Such a film that probably deserves a documentary, because it is inevitable that too much has gone wrong behind the scenes. The result is really abominable, not to look at. And you should be happy that it already takes 100 minutes, instead of the usual 2+ hours.
Man, Pitof is seriously missing out here.

I'm sometimes amazed at movies like this that it was ever made. There are so many things that are just bad, it's hard to believe that this has seen the light of day.
It starts from the first minute, when an appallingly weak acting Halle Berry presents himself as a wallflower. Even then there is no question of any quality whatsoever. Fortunately, it doesn't take too long before things go wrong and Berry turns into Catwoman.
It must be said that the playing time progresses quite easily, but it doesn't get any better. Catwoman's design alone - like some kind of latex queen, I can't do much with it. Berry's clean face is like a plaster on a wooden leg, because she moves very strangely and all that Catwoman persona doesn't work.
There's still a lot of poorly shot action - editing sucks too. The CGI is often ugly, but could have been worse so all in all it's not too bad. The soundtrack - full of frumpy TLC-esque songs - completes this poor product.
While watching, I was inclined to give the lowest score for a long time, but I managed to catch one smile through this circus, so I'm going to refrain from that.
