I Kina Spiser de Hunde plot

Arvid and Harald are brothers. That's the only similarity between the two. After all, Arvid is a quiet and inconspicuous employee of a bank, while Harald is a tough boy who does not turn his hand around a criminal affair. Arvid unexpectedly becomes an unwilling hero when he foils a bank robbery by overpowering the robber. Not everyone is happy about this and Arvid is forced to enlist the help of his brother to save his own skin. He is up to his ears in the daily practice of Harald who is supervised by two cooks and a not very smart immigrant.

Probably another low-budget movie that many people write off because of the lack of special effects or something similar.

Still, this is brilliantly made with an even better script. The film's pacing is incredibly fast! The humor in the dialogue is, in a mafioso way, drier than a dishcloth, and this little gem also boasts some memorable scenes that smooth over all the imperfections in one fell swoop.

Besides, it doesn't all have to be filmed meticulously; the script isn't designed for that. Shooting without conscience and then, with a touch of remorse, selecting the next victim, packed with brutal action and sharp humor, can still result in a highly entertaining film.

Add to that the unusual music that kicks in just in time to create a completely crazy film, thanks in large part to the final crazy fifteen minutes including the shoot-out!

Something even more sillier wouldn't have been out of place and it's not a masterpiece, but I can imagine that some people will find this great film entertainment!

I suddenly feel like putting on Old Men in New Cars this week, which I actually had my doubts about, especially since I was giving my eyelids the victory after half an hour at Vet Hard.

I think a 4* is appropriate.

I found the ending a bit disappointing, but otherwise, it's a wonderful film. A complete lack of morality and a good pace make this a captivating film.

Fun little film. What strikes me every time I watch a Danish film is that it's actually a small group of actors. Bodnia (Frygtelig Lykkelig), Kaas (Green Butchers), Dyrholm (Festen), Kruse (Green Butchers), and Christensen (En Familie)—I've seen them all before. Anyway, the humor is brilliant, and the mounting problems and the action are all well-developed. I enjoyed it.
