The Belles of St. Trinian's plot
"Would you send your daughter to St. Trinian's?"
Film adaptation of Ronald Searle's cartoons about a completely insane girls' school in Barchester. The headmistress doesn't have them all sorted out and her brother, a bookmaker, tries to use the school, which is almost bankrupt, to his own advantage. The arrival of the sultan's daughter, Princess Fatima, causes even more chaos than usual, especially when her father sends a racehorse to run in a big race near Barchester. At the same time, Police Sergeant has placed Ruby Gates as a teacher at the school and the Department of Education is sending its third inspector after the previous two have disappeared without a trace.
