"Sometimes a friendship sets you free"
The young orphan Lukas lives with his mourning father in the mountains of Austria. The man compensates for the loss of his wife by being very rough, pushing his son, who is indirectly responsible for the death of his mother, away from him. The boy himself has not spoken a word since his mother's death. One day, when Lukas finds a young eaglet that has fallen from its nest, he decides to raise it.
