Breathe Umphefumlo plot

Mimi and Lungelo are in love and make plans and dreams to soon share a future together. But life in South Africa is not easy for them, as they have to fight every day for some food and a roof over their heads. The situation gets even worse when Mimi is diagnosed with tuberculosis. Especially since the young woman cannot afford medical treatment. In order not to be a burden to Lungelo, she keeps her illness a secret and ends her relationship. Mimi's only support during these difficult times is her friend Zoleka.
