It's not dead in this political thriller where everything revolves around a list of names and facts, which is used as a weapon in the political power struggle. Courtesy and favor that are best kept silent about, bribes, corruption, blackmail...it's all in the intrigue that is quite complicated to follow because of the many intermediaries who all act for someone involved in the file.
Exciting, with Alain Delon feeling quite comfortable in this adventure in which he is being dragged along. In addition to him, several well-known names, Stéphane Audran, Mireille Darc (small role), Maurice Ronet, Klaus Kinski, Daniel Ceccaldi, Jean Bouise ... many from the French actor world, all very good in their roles.
Nice crime movie.

Not always realistic and sometimes a bit difficult to follow. But still a wonderful thriller atmosphere with noir elements, partly because of the music by Stan Getz.
Strong is Delon's acting and Muti's beautiful appearance. Also note Kinski as a typical creep.
