Enklava plot
Ten-year-old Nenad lives in a small Serbian enclave in Kosovo with his father Vojislav and his ailing grandfather Milutin. Besides them, the orthodox priest Drazha and a thirty-year-old teacher are the only Serbs in the area. Every day Nenad is picked up by KFOR to be taken to school, where he is now the only student. His desire to play with other children is enormous. Every day he sees two Albanian boys through the cracks of the armored KFOR car and thirteen-year-old Bashkim, who hates Serbs because his father died in the war.

The aftermath of the war that broke up the former Yugoslavia in the 1990s, felt by young teenagers.
Sad situations in which, even after agreements, incompatibilities, distrust and feelings of revenge continue to live on. Occasional images of devastation (the cemetery!) but the emphasis is still on the difficult human society.
Decent film that reminds us of the ethnic cleansing that took place at the time, resulting in untold suffering.

Nice film, although that child does not act very well and the film mainly revolves around his person and those scenes do not always manage to fascinate. Too bad, because in itself it is a fascinating insight. Now we see the Serbs more as victims and how they live as a diaspora in Kosovo, which is hostile territory for them. Fairly atmospheric and intriguing, only the film itself, the actual plot and characters, are a bit less interesting. 3.0*.
