Former Navy Seal Harry Gordini is now a criminal law professor. After marital troubles, he decides to reconcile with his wife. Together with her and their son, they travel via Rome to Sardinia, where they will stay in a secluded villa by the sea. Only in Sardinia does he notice that he has brought the wrong suitcase from the airport. The unfortunate coincidence has it that it is a suitcase full of drugs. Harry immediately decides to go to the American embassy. Meanwhile, the owner of the suitcase tracks down Harry's wife and son.
