Social worker Eddie takes his daughter Charlotte to work on Christmas Eve. Eddie and Charlotte meet an unusual man named Nick. He is dressed in an impeccable Santa suit and together they embark on a grand adventure that brings them into conflict with a local politician.

Mediocre Christmas movie. It's not as sappy as a standard Christmas movie. Still, I didn't like it much. A number of jokes are made that do not land at all or perhaps are not intended for me.
1.5 stars is more than enough.

What can you say about this special Christmas film.
Special because Santa Claus in this film is African American.
It's not a tour de force.
And it is sweet and a bit bland at first.
But as the film progresses, it becomes a bit more fun.
Santa Claus played by Lil Rel Howery who also starred in the two Vacation Friends films.
Plays quite funny, he's good at that.
But he doesn't really shine in this role.
But in itself it plays well, with some funny moments.
Not your average Christmas movie, but entertaining and a reasonable movie.
