Pippi Longstocking plot

"Her name is about all you can handle."

Pippi Longstocking sails around the world with her father. They are separated by a storm at sea. Pippi goes to live with her horse and monkey in an old villa in a small town. She befriends the neighbor children Annika and Tom and together they experience the strangest adventures. The main woman in town, Prysselius, wants to put Pippi in an orphanage. But then Pippi's father shows up again. He wants to take her back to sea.
