I read in the topic that the 2022 film was better. All the more reason to see this version from 1984. I'll leave it open as to whether it's a better film. Both impressive, I think, and the actual conversations about the Jewish question are detailed in detail.
It remains difficult to grasp how banal and mundane people were talking about this item, although for these bureaucrats sitting far away in an office in Munich or Berlin it would literally have been a far cry from their bed. It is a pure talk film and takes place entirely in one location. So everything depends on the more than excellent acting. The film is very authentic and feels like a documentary.
Rock solid. Difficult to compare with the 2022 film because it has been some time since I saw it, but from what I remember it is quite similar.
