Night of the Creeps plot
"The good news is your date is here. The bad news is... he's dead."
Two boys want to join a sorority to get closer to a beautiful girl. As hazing, they have to lay a corpse in front of the house of another student association. In the hospital, however, they happen to find a room where a body has been frozen. Thinking it's dead, they decide to take it with them, but when they thaw it, it turns out it's not that dead. He also turns out to be infected with a virus from an alien experiment from the 1950s. Soon there will be deaths.

Weird that I've never seen it before. :O
Really an entertaining horror comedy that works out well on both fronts.
The cast also handles this well and knows how to strike the right balance between the comic and the horror aspect. I thought Tom Atkins was very successful as a detective and the two boys ( Jason Lively and Steve Marshall ) play their roles well. There is a lot to experience and the slot has a wonderful pleasure content. The story also builds up to this climax well. Pleasant surprise ! 7/10

Combination of frat house teen comedy and clumsy zombie horror : it creates a special atmosphere. Great snack that exudes love for the older films in the SF and horror genre. Space slugs turn anyone they invade into zombies. The special effects are not always that good.. that zombie dog and cat say enough. Night of the Creeps is especially recommended for those who want thick syrupy 80s cheese on their sandwich.

I don't know how this didn't appear on my radar sooner, but I'm glad I came across it. Was looking for Creature Feature films and this one was among them.
Entertaining horror/comedy from the 80s. Great story about alien snails that crawl into your brain and turn you into a zombie among the horny teenagers. The effects were okay for the time. The actors were mediocre, but good that fits a bit with such a film.
3 stars.
