The Girl from Moonooloo plot

Australia in the 1940s. Jacki works at a post office and is a part-time pianist. When someone is needed to voice the boy Ginger Meggs in a radio play on Australian radio, Jacki turns out to be a better candidate than the boy originally cast for the role. As a result, she becomes a radio celebrity.
