Good film about an ex-soldier who crashes in a small plane in the wilderness with his loyal canine companion. An unoriginal but entertaining survival drama centering on the relationship between man and animal. Continuously stunning shots of the rugged landscape. Brad Pitt isn't the big star here, as the dog manages to steal every scene. A sentimental, yet beautiful ending. Easily 3.5 stars.

Bad. Totally unbelievable story and bad CGI. Pure Hollywood. If you're going to tell a survival story, at least make it realistic and don't come up with 90 minutes of nonsense.
+1 more because the movie thankfully wasn't that long.
