Ryan "Fang" Flanagan (Liam Neeson) returns as a veteran.

(No more such a weird detour with the "comedy" The Naked Gun, as a replacement for Leslie Nielsen.
Frank Drebin Jr. plays there. (He was a terrible flop, for me anyway..)
Here he is on the run for a murder he did not commit.
But since he is a former soldier with many decorations, he naturally won't be caught easily.
He is gaining more and more respect from everyone, and they help him as well.

Mediocre action movie. The story is weak and unoriginal. The execution is quite average and somewhat facile. There is little build-up. The film starts immediately with the chase, and the past is shared through flashbacks, which works quite well. Unfortunately, the action is a bit tame; with the exception of a single scene, the various chases are not depicted with much flash. Neeson plays a familiar role and does so well. His old army buddies, such as Rhames, play nice supporting roles. 2.5/3.0
