Fight. Win. Grow. These are words heard multiple times in the film. They serve as a kind of mantra for the six teenage girls attending an obscure tennis school who learn that you must be prepared to do anything if you want to achieve anything in the sport. The opening scene makes it immediately clear that it is a matter of life and death. The film presents a fine, bizarre, and humorous overture with a murderous ending. And that is how it should be, for the tennis school's credo is that you will never play on Wimbledon's Center Court unless you walk over dead bodies.

The story is simple and the ending is predictable. Nevertheless, director and writer Niklas Chryssos creates an amusing and grotesque film in which the bodies of the tennis-playing girls are abused not only during training. Shower scenes, catfights, and Sapphic desire are reminiscent of the heyday of the exploitation film. Furthermore, there are a number of decent horror-worthy scenes and an excellent ominous atmosphere generated by the remote setting and the obscure training methods.

While the girls' ethnic backgrounds are quite diverse, the characterization, on the other hand, is very one-dimensional. Fortunately, the girls look appealing, and the camera seizes upon this fact to try with all its might to awaken the dirty voyeur in the decent viewer. I will be honest. Those attempts were successful.
