Practical Magic 2 plot

After 25 years, the Owens family faces a new crisis when a discovery comes to light regarding the family history and the origin of their magic. When Sally's daughter begins to unravel hidden family secrets and develops her own dark powers, the family becomes embroiled in a battle spanning multiple generations to finally break the curse that has haunted them for centuries. The Owens family must join forces once again and travel from their home in Massachusetts to the United Kingdom to confront the source of their magic and save the next generation of their family.

A decent film in which the two sisters once again have to deal with the curse that has plagued their family for generations. Not only a late, but above all an unexpected sequel. Compared to the first part, this is a more coherent story. The interaction between Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman does provide a few funny moments. The film goes on for far too long, but is still just a bit better than the first part. A narrow 3.0 stars.
