After the first moon landing, there was one goal left for aviation pioneers: to be the first to cover 26,000 kilometers nonstop by balloon. Many failed, including Bertrand Piccard and Andy Elson. Because Elson was responsible for the failure, Piccard ended the collaboration and continued with Brian Jones in 1999. Meanwhile, Elson was also preparing for a new attempt. All those directly involved have their say in this rather unexciting retrospective on what must undoubtedly have been an exciting journey. Lots of talking heads, fortunately interspersed with authentic footage.
