John Travolta is a fine actor. Recently watched Pulp Fiction again. But he shouldn't start writing books, let alone adapt the book itself into a film. Okay, so he doesn't like cordon bleu? No, not much happens. It's like describing a day at the office. But I still tried to watch half the film, but the connection was missing.

Mediocre movie. There is hardly any story to speak of. The execution is inconsistent and generally insufficient. The short running time is the biggest plus. Otherwise, it is boring. The film visualizes Travolta's self-written book. He is the voiceover himself throughout the entire film, and he does so with passion. That is reflected in the film. It is an ode to aviation from the 1960s. Visually beautifully portrayed with fine costumes and sets. But otherwise very boring with wooden acting. 2.5
