After Abby inherits her parents' abandoned house, she discovers a mysterious, thirty-year-old video camera hidden among a collection of videotapes. The first half was very tense. After that, however, it became a bit too much of the same and therefore too predictable. I also found the exploding heads a bit "over the top".

But all in all, it certainly didn't disappoint me. I thought the setting, music, and cinematography were quite good. I found the "scariest" part to be that patient of her mother's who was possessed during a past hospitalization and looked the daughter straight in the eyes. It reminded me a bit of the movie Sinister. I also found the scene where she looked through the camera herself and thereby gained access to another world quite original and suspenseful.
