A ludicrous B-horror film in which the evil spirit spies on his prey while hiding behind trees. Director Joseph Mazzaferro seems not to have checked his own script at all, which is full of superfluous moments. A story that essentially forms a kind of combination between The Bye Bye Man and Talk to Me, making the refreshing choice to leave out the "they-don't-believe-me" aspect, but which also earns it most of its positive points. Terrible acting, visually it looks particularly bare, and the meager plot doesn't hold water either. A typical piece of work that looks more interesting beforehand than it actually is. Fans might still be able to find some unintended humor in it.
