A very amusing horror film that peaks primarily in the absurd nature of the story. Director Taweewat Wantha goes completely over the top with the ideas early on, switching that up in the second half with purer horror. Both aspects work remarkably well, despite the mediocre special effects. The make-up effects, on the other hand, are very good. The ghost of Nichapalak Thongkham, in particular, looks menacing, and the murders are nicely graphic, even though Wantha could have used less CGI here as well. What remains is a film with subpar acting, but one that positions itself so comfortably in the chaos that, in a strange way, it manages to work. Fans of films that deliberately push the boundaries of logic will be delighted with this whole thing, while the somewhat more objective viewer will have a harder time.
