Tyler Perry's Joe's College Road Trip plot
"This ain't no field trip."
After high school, BJ prepares to travel to various universities with his best friends. His father, Brian, is initially enthusiastic about the opportunity, until he realizes his son has a distorted view of what it means to be Black in America. He discusses his concerns with none other than Madea, who quickly confirms that BJ still has much to learn about the real world. Madea offers a solution: instead of BJ traveling with his white friends and participating in all sorts of white activities, he should travel with his grandfather, Joe. Together, they embark on a journey that will change both their lives forever.
