The date between the incredibly nervous Sander [Tobias Kersloot] and the narcissistic Alex [Yuani Blindenburg] takes a "pretty intense turn" with a robbery. Two detectives [Jacob Derwig, Bas Hoeflaak] interrogate Sander, Alex, and their bitchy waitress [Laura Bakker] afterward, giving us three different perspectives on the events. Forget Rashomon, this is a pitifully shot and hopelessly written, directed, and acted travesty that also reinforces negative stereotypes. Part of Telefilm 2026.

Really strange. The whole setting looks like a set, a cheap one at that. That could be a conscious choice or a lack of budget, but either way, it looks hideous. Restaurants can always look beautiful in movies. The acting is also strange, the story is strange, and I really couldn't relate to it. I understand this is supposed to be a comedy, but I didn't find the film even remotely entertaining, let alone funny. 0.5 stars.
