This is just pure fun, don't take it too seriously.
Lovely evening at the cinema.
Good mix of action and dark humor.
Jack Black and Paul Rudd are a great duo
Don't expect horror, or you'll be disappointed. It's just pure fun, which is something to be had sometimes

A mediocre film in which a few friends decide to remake Anaconda. An unexpectedly meta reboot of the '90s pulp film. A fun premise that also starts well. Unfortunately, the execution is disappointing. A few funny moments, but the humor is mostly on the weak side.

There's nothing about this film that lacks originality or even a wow moment, but it's saved by the joy it occasionally exudes. The actors are all clearly in it, there are some good moments, and for two short hours of entertainment at the cinema, this thing is perfectly fine. But it's nothing more than that. 3.0*
