A good thriller with a touch of drama. The trailer might also conjure up horror, but you have to forget that.

Engrossing film with a fairly absurdist premise; you are essentially constantly guessing what on earth is going on. But this couple's re-education camp is brilliantly designed, especially how Graham goes berserk with his tools to prevent Tommy from running away. A very strong performance, as is that of Anson Boon himself, although he is portrayed a bit stereotypically at first. But you don't get to hear much about the exact situation with their earlier "son" or whether that little boy is really their own son. Nevertheless, it is an entertaining film best compared to Clockwork Orange, though much less impressive, of course. However, I watched with fascination, and there isn't really a dull moment.

Intriguing, unpredictable drama with thriller elements, about a young criminal (Anson Boon) who is kidnapped by a wacky duo (Stephen Graham and Andrea Riseborough) to undergo a bizarre rehabilitation program. The plot and characters ultimately do not develop as you would expect, but this does lead to a satisfying, surprisingly subtle denouement. Strong performances from the cast, with Graham in top form once again. That, however, is predictable.
