I thought this was a remarkable film. It had a lovely art nouveau setting with nice colors, even though it was dark. Everyone thought the acting was good. It's not a horror film, but more of a dark humorous one. It wasn't boring, and I have no idea how long this film was. More of these should be made.

Eight-year-old Aurora [Sophie Sloan] has nightmares about a giant rabbit that lives underground (the title refers to a ball of dust that forms under her bed) and eats anyone who touches the floor. When the monster devours her parents [Lina Kruse, Caspar Phillipson], she enlists the help of her "neighbor" [Mads Mikkelsen], who is actually a superhero. Whether you find this imaginative or absurd, it's certainly original. Sheila Atim and Sigourney Weaver give strong supporting roles, but the action scenes are rather tiresome and ultimately exhausting. Don't let the title mislead you: this is not for children!

A fairly strong mix of various genres. The story is quite well-conceived. The execution is surprisingly good on all fronts. After a short buildup, a mysterious story follows, leaving the viewer in suspense for a long time about who is telling the truth. What follows is a nicely balanced mix of suspense, action, a touch of humor, fantasy, and mild horror, with no bloodshed. Visually, the film is very successful, with a colorful design and a dark atmosphere that feels like a fairytale. The acting is also very strong. The young Sloan gives a very convincing performance. The chemistry between them and the acting powerhouse Mikkelsen is also excellent. In short, a pleasant surprise. 4.0

A fun, beautifully crafted, dark fairytale, a kind of cross between Amélie and Leon. Mads Mikkelsen appears again in an American film as a hitman, and here he actually has a really cool role. The scenes between him and the young lead actress Sophie Sloan are wonderfully understated and often very funny. Sigourney Weaver is also in fine form in a key supporting role. The first half of the film is rather slow and static, partly due to the largely lack of dialogue, but once the plot and characters take off, it's enjoyable.
