Wielka Warszawska plot
A story about a young jockey who dreams of a sports career. The culmination of these dreams is participation in the most important race in Poland - the Great Warsaw Race. The main character, Krzysiek, enters the horse racing environment with the naivety of a novice and enthusiast. Only after some time does he realize that the race is a network of dependencies, powerful interests and manipulation of results. The boy believes that he can change this, especially since the country is on the eve of great changes. The fall of communism gives hope that the future will only get better and the rules will be clearer. But in a world full of corruption and cheating, it is difficult to remain unscathed.
