Madea's great-grandniece, Tiffany, introduces her new boyfriend, Zavier, to her family and tells them the shocking news: the couple is getting married in two weeks, and everyone has been invited to their wedding in the Bahamas. Although her mother, Debrah, seems to have everything under control, the vacation takes a turn for the worse. Madea isn't ready to leave the country; Brian disapproves of his daughter's rushed wedding to her immature fiancé; Tiffany begins to have doubts about Zavier; and Debrah is acting strangely. The whole wedding sounds too good to be true.

You have to like it, but Madea's films are usually entertaining and funny. Often with a bit of corny humor, of course, but it works given the whole concept of the busy family, the wacky characters, and their relationships.
The idea of a wedding at a different location, far removed from their surroundings, is a great move this time. Wonderful, wacky scenes unfold at a fairly fast pace. An entertaining film, one of the better ones in this series from director Tyler Perry. 7/10

An hour and a half of hustle and bustle, mostly featuring Tyler Perry, sometimes covered in a thick layer of makeup. It's not my genre, let me be clear about that. The fact that I hadn't seen any of the other Madea films doesn't really matter. They're certainly not for me, but fans can certainly enjoy them.
