Planètes plot
Dendelion, Baraban, Léonto and Taraxa are dandelion seeds that survive a series of nuclear explosions on Earth. They are catapulted into space and end up on an unknown planet. There they look for fertile soil so that their species can survive. However, they have to deal with the climate, fauna and flora.

Four dandelions escape the destruction of Earth and land on another planet. There, they seek a safe place where they can reproduce and flourish. Much attention was paid to the animation of the visual details of flora and fauna, at the expense of a plot. That plot is a simplistic allegory of both the refugee and climate crises. Beautiful visuals, mediocre plot.

A laborious birth. Some of the visuals were technically very impressive (that flowing water), to the point where I mostly wondered if this wasn't a mix of animation and real footage. However, aesthetically not very special; I didn't find the film truly beautiful anywhere. And in terms of content, it wasn't engaging at all. Cleverly made without dialogue, but four balls of fluff traveling through nature without a sense of urgency: I really couldn't connect with that. The music is actually quite nice and thankfully not very long, although I did get quite bored even during this limited runtime. 1.0*.
