Camilla decides to move to Puglia with her boyfriend Antonio to study there. Her parents Carlo and Giulia Rovelli and their two other children Bianca and Tito come to live with her in the masseria (traditional Apulian farmhouse) of Antonio's parents, the Paradisos. Carlo leaves no opportunity to make himself an unwelcome guest.

Camilla [Angelica Elli] moves in with Antonio [Gabriele Pizzurro] at 18. It's high time the families meet in this shameless rip-off of Meet the Parents, full of far-fetched misunderstandings and awkward situations, mostly caused by Camilla's father [Fabio De Luigi]. The only bright spot is Lodovini as Camilla's mother, who tries to keep her pregnancy (at 45) a secret. All the other characters are superficially developed. Genovese apparently found it funny to give Leone Cardaci as many excuses as possible to adjust his glasses. Marcello Cesena's performance as the local priest is downright embarrassing.
