African films (I'm not talking about the Maghreb countries or South Africa) are often a bit of a wait and see of what you get served up. Partly due to limited budgets, you have to adapt a bit. You often come across crappy acting and that is unfortunately no different here.
And the sentimental note is also never far away in these soap opera dramas. That is no different here. I think there is non-stop piano music in the background. Particularly terrible and if you pay attention to it, it will not go away.
I was more impressed by the more than solid story. The only thing that kept me interested was watching the film. About an educational program in the countryside and all the difficulties, prejudices and cultural differences that come with it.
