Luna Rosa: La 7ª Ascensión de Atabey plot
Set in the future on the island of Borinquen, the original, indigenous name by which Puerto Rico is popularly known, the film chronicles the epic journey of Zur'na. The unexpected return and subsequent kidnapping of her brother disrupts Zur'na's quiet, reclusive life. Together with her neighbor Vyeñu—whose talkativeness contrasts with Zur'na's stoic, silent nature—she sets out on an adventure to rescue her missing brother. But during her stay in the colony, which is under the control of imperialist American forces, she also discovers the basis of a complex network of power that enslaves her people.
