Another real "Statham" film, just as you always expect from him.

Statham plays Cole Reed, a former police officer/veteran.

Statham, who is a veteran/policeman as always, with all kinds of decorations and skills, of course.

Mediocre action movie. The story is unremarkable and fits well into the lineup of various Die Hard variants, only this time on a container ship. The execution is unsurprising and quite run-of-the-mill. The action isn't very spectacular either. Otherwise, the film is easy to watch and never gets boring, despite the repetition of plot points. Statham delivers a solid performance, but he does have the autopilot on. Visually fine and somewhat surprising without too much CGI. 3.0

During the first action scene, I thought, "Oh dear, this isn't going to work." It looked amateurish. Fortunately, the film redeems itself with the action at sea. If you are watching this film for the story, you are in the wrong place. Switch off your brain and watch.
